“Noblessner”: Formation of Financial and Industrial Group In St. Petersburg In the Early Twentieth Century
Abstract
This article is devoted to the research of the formation of financial and industrial group “Nobel-Lessner” in St. P etersburg in the early twentieth century. It is proved that the group arose in Russia as one of the elements of structural reorganization of industry on the eve of the First World War. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of institutional and organizational innovations that affected the performance of financial and industrial group in specific economic, social and political situation in the Russian Empire. The main concern of the article is the problems associated with the formation of intra-balance of interests in the group in its legal, informal, institutional and socio-cultural issues.
