In the first quarter of the twentieth century he attempted to create a system of laws and principles governing the development of production, based on the general principle of effectiveness. Condemned in 1930 during the process of the “Industrial Party” and shot in 1938, Czarnowski was forgotten for the decades. One of the main findings of the article is that the Czarnowski’s approach to management which was an innovation in the early twentieth century, retains its relevance in our days.
